When I was asked to write a short biography about myself I just wasn’t sure where to start. There is so much God has done in my life to get me to this point. The VERY SHORT VERSION is that I have always loved to teach but never imagined myself as a director of a preschool. But God… Am I right?!? We plan our ways, but the Lord directs our steps.

December 30, 2020 the Lord completely changed the path I was on. My husband (of 34 years now) had a heart attack while we were on a trip with family. He is doing well, and I thank God for allowing him to stay here with me. At that time, I was working in administration in the church office at Faith Family Fellowship. I stepped away from my job and started caring for my husband, as we learned how to negotiate the “heart healthy” life.

The summer of 2021 the previous director relocated for her husband’s job and through MUCH prompting from the Lord I applied for and was given the opportunity to direct this wonderful preschool. To say I love what I do is the biggest understatement that can be stated. I love the staff I get to work with; I love the kids I get to interact with, and I love that I get to do it all while pouring foundational truths from the word of God into the minds and hearts of these kids. Sometimes leading is hard, but as I look to God He faithfully provides everything. The peace and laughter that fill these halls comes from God as He leads.

When I am not at the preschool, I love spending time with my husband, my adult children and their families, and my close friends. I have 6 beautiful grandkids and a 7^th on the way in February of 2026! I enjoy playing board games or spending time outside.
