Our staff and teachers are highly motivated and absolutely love their jobs – and your children! We are excited to be here every day!

Faith Family Preschool Mission Statement: Faith Family Fellowship Weekday Preschool seeks to glorify God through Christ-like interaction with students and their families as we teach foundational truths in both education and the Bible.

Recognizing the importance of balanced growth, our staff will provide your child the opportunity for cognitive, emotional, physical, social and spiritual development through our curriculum. We use the Abeka curriculum which combines phonics, math, and exciting units for the children. We are committed to providing biblically based, age-appropriate experiences to allow each child to progress in these areas while enjoying feelings of success. This is primarily done through hands on activities and positive Christ-like role modeling by the staff. (Click on a staff member for more info.)

Live like Christ. Love like Christ. Teach like Christ.

When I was asked to write a short biography about myself I just wasn’t sure where to start. There is so much God has done in my life to get me to this point. The VERY SHORT VERSION is that I have always loved to teach but never imagined myself as a director of a preschool. But God… Am I right?!? We plan our ways, but the Lord directs our steps. To say I love what I do is the biggest understatement. I love the staff I get to work with; I love the kids I get to interact with; and I love that I get to do it all while pouring foundational truths from the word of God into the minds and hearts of these kids.

I’m working on it, calm down and keep your pants on!

In my 30-plus years of teaching early childhood God has blessed me with so many amazing children in my classrooms! I love teaching children about Jesus and hope to have many more years of crazy fun!

“I’d lose my head if it wasn’t attached!”

I have always had a passion for teaching and received my BA in Child and Adolescent Development from San Francisco State University.  My part-time job as a substitute preschool teacher in college turned into a full-time career shortly after I graduated, and I have loved it ever since!

I began working at Faith Family Weekday Preschool as an aftercare teacher during my senior year of high school. I continued in that role while attending Coastal Alabama Community College, where I earned my Associate’s degree focused in Business Administration. In 2024, as I approached graduation, I was offered the position of full-time K3 teacher. After lots of prayer and waiting, I was blessed with the opportunity to accept the job! I’m looking forward to this school year and am confident it’s going to be amazing!

I am excited to be starting my first full-time teaching position this year.  I gained valuable experience last year as a frequent substitute teacher. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and feel strongly that God has guided me to this position. I am looking forward to a great year!

I have been a preschool teacher at Faith Family since August of 2023.  Prior to then I was a children’s leader with Bible Study Fellowship and in charge of preschoolers for several Classical Conversation homeschool groups. I’m looking forward to a new role assisting Mrs. Abby with the two-year-olds this school year. I can’t wait to take lots of ByeBye Buggy walks with your children and love and care for them!

Other Staff/Pastor

Custodian

Willie

Willie is more than our custodian – he’s part of our family! He has faithfully served the preschool (and, by extension, the church) for more than a quarter century, smiling every day! When you drop your kids off in the morning, you can know they’re entering a sparkling clean facility, as only Willie can provide!

Faith Family Fellowship Pastor

Pastor David

Pastor David faithfully leads the church body. He is more than our pastor, though: he is our friend! He cares so much for the children attending Faith Family Preschool, and just as much for the families of the children and for the teachers and staff. If we ever need anything, we can always call on Pastor David! And you might even see him hanging out with us from time to time!
